The alliance will provide a framework for future cooperation both in terms of origination and execution of transactions into and out of the Nordic region. It will also give CBCF and DMCF access to a full range of corporate finance products in each other's primary area of operations across Europe and the Nordic region. The cooperation between the parties will be on all levels and geographies of both organisations whenever it is beneficial to clients
Commenting on the alliance, Richard Grainger, CEO of CBCF said:
"The Nordic region continues to be a very interesting market for corporate advisory and we see that trend developing over the coming years. Close Brothers Corporate Finance wants to be part of this. The alliance with Danske Markets Corporate Finance gives us the perfect platform to develop the Close Associates network into the region. We look forward to working on mandates with Danske Markets Corporate Finance."
Jens Peter Toft of Corporate Finance in Danske Markets said:
"The alliance with Close Brothers Corporate Finance is a natural step in the face of increasing globalisation. It gives us access to corporate finance expertise outside the Nordic region, including all the major European countries. The co-operation will benefit our Nordic customers who wish to expand by way of acquisition in the UK, Germany, France, Spain or elsewhere around Europe."
The agreement will be effective from today.
