As an Associate within the transaction teams you will solve strategic problems with creativity and professionalism, concentrating on building long-term relationships with clients. With an emphasis on teamwork you will be involved in originating new business and strengthening existing relationships with regular client contact. Responsibilities will include transaction execution, financial analysis and modelling, company and market research, and project management. You will have exposure to M&A, corporate restructuring, debt advisory work and working with private equity groups across a wide variety of sectors liasing closely with colleagues overseas. As your career progresses you will have the opportunity for specific sector specialisation and international secondments.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

• have an ACA, law or MBA qualification or have already worked within corporate finance
  
• an excellent academic background combined with excellent numerical skills (minimum 2.1 degree)
  
• the ability to think creatively with a commercial focus and demonstrate a good understanding of the issues facing growing companies
  
• the ability to work within a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
  
• knowledge of at least one other European language (German, French or Spanish)
