The European Pensions Advisory Group

The European Pensions Advisory Group (EPAG) provides corporate finance advice to both Corporate Employers and Pension Scheme Trustees, primarily in relation to defined benefit Pension Schemes that are in deficit.

We are the only investment bank with direct experience of working for the Pensions Regulator in its Scheme Specific Funding practice area.  We also have direct experience of working with the Regulator on clearance matters and corporate restructuring transactions.

We are experts in capital markets, credit-assessment and sector-specific issues relevant to the assessment of Employer Covenant. We do not provide actuarial or legal advice and work collaboratively with the other professional advisers to the Pension Scheme.

Recognising the long-term nature of the relationship between Trustees and Employers, EPAG gives advice in the following areas:

• Independent Covenant Assessment|

Scheme Funding Advisory|

• Clearance Advisory|

• Special Situations|
